Was wondering if anybody has ever played Company of Heroes?

I have made maps for that and won several awards for the quality and game play of my maps, however do not think that this editor is anywhere near the magnitude of the Doom Editor.

Anybody got any good tattoos here?

I got myself a great new internet connection! Now I can play some games online, finally.

Doom, Doom II, Hexen, Heretic, Hexen II, and Strife are NOT shareware, nor are they free software in any way. I do not support software piracy.

Most of the source code for the titles I listed above are free under the GNU general public license or a similar license, however, the actual game files (artwork, sounds, levels) are NOT free.

False. He posted a picture of it and said you could get it from the internet. He did not say where, and did not post any links. All he did was post a picture.

And I would've never even tried to find it if it wasn't for that post in the first place. All I was doing was trying to show someone where to get it. So it's my bad for trying to help? The picture was showing "illegal" material, that several other users besides myself saw and thought was a great idea. I like also how I have an attitude for saying that his picture should be removed as my link was. I do not appreciate being talked down to. Don't forget that I am not the only one here making impressions. I did not realize that it was a problem by trying to help someone out. And obviously you cannot tell sarcasm when you see it.



And regardless of whether or not it was a link, it still promoted a "questionable" download. So how is it not the same? Explain that to me. He posted an image showing you what to look for, I posted a link? Therefore I am the bad guy with the attitude? Whatever.

A picture is not a link to illegal content. The picture itself is not illegal. A link, or even site name was not given to said content. Therefore it was left alone. My comment on your attitude was directed at your response to me telling you direct links to illegal content. We don't and won't tolerate it here

Again my comment on your attitude was not because you posted the link, but your response when I told you to not post any further links to illegal content.

All I am saying is that what is being done is not really... logical. I must admit, posting a link would be/should be removed, and that is because of what he said.

However a picture would show you what to look for. I am just saying, for future reference of keeping up with your rules on this forum that stuff like that should be taken down. Links, pictures, someone telling you where to go.

So if I post a picture of a pot leaf or something here... that's fine. Because I did not post a link of where to get it?

Posting a picture of a pot leaf would not be illegal, just like the picture of the compilation was not illegal. It's all very simple, and best part you don't even have to worry about it because we, the team, will make that decision if it's something borderline. A link however is never borderline and is common sense that it is not allowed. Just know that if you end up posting further illegal links you'll get an official warning.
