Yesterday I came up with a weapon which might be really interesting for this mod. Here it is:

Name: Vhorghan's Ball and Chain
Class: Fighter
Desc: The ball and chain is a very powerful weapon. The user swings it above his head, coaxing the dark flame magic out of it. The user may throw the weapon forward, and when it lands, pull it back, leaving a trail of destructive flame magic behind. In addition, when the ball lands it sends a shockwave that can damage nearby enemies. The weapon can only be wielded when the player has mana though, because the weapon is so massive that a normal human being cannot use it.

Obviously the physics of the ball might be hard to implement, but it would sure be an awesome weapon to use. Can't say it would be very fair, though... If the dev team implemented it, you might have to tone it down.

Anyway, that's my idea. Tell me what you think.

Personally I've always loved the big ball and chain weapon, the rarity that I see it in a movie. The difficult part of bringing something like that in game would be making its handling and use enjoyable. Gamers usually like to directly hit their enemies with their weapons so things would need to be adjusted for this along with an appropriate 'reloading' speed if you made it a powerful weapon. It could be a fun weapon though.

I always thought about an item that makes a firewall.(kinda L4D molotov)
That would be usefull.
